Hey, I’m Zoe! ♡
I’ve been professionally piercing since 2023, and I absolutely love what I do. One of the most important things to me is creating a space where anyone and everyone feels safe, comfortable, and welcome. Whether you’re getting your very first piercing or adding to what you already have, I want you to feel like you’re in the right place!
I like taking my time during appointments to talk about your anatomy, jewelry options, placement, the piercing process, and anything else you might be wondering about. I love educating my clients and making sure you feel confident about your piercing before we get started.
I’m always learning and trying to grow within the piercing industry, and I’m especially excited to get more into ear curations and styling. I love the creative side of piercing and helping someone put together an ear that feels totally them.
When I’m not at the shop, I’m usually hanging out with my friends and pets, traveling, trying something new, or making art. I’ve always loved crafts and finding different ways to be creative. And if you know me, you probably already know I’m the shop’s crazy plant lady!!

FAQ
FAQ
-
Pain levels can vary depending on the individual's pain tolerance and the location of the piercing. Generally, piercings are associated with some level of discomfort, but the pain is usually brief.
-
Healing times can vary widely depending on the type of piercing. Your piercer will inform you of your healing time at the time of your appointment.
Earlobe piercings usually heal in 4-6 months, but sometimes longer
Cartilage piercings may take 6-12 months or longer to fully heal
-
We strictly pierce with high quality implant grade titanium or 14k gold only. Our studs are all internally threaded or threadless flat backs. Other piercing jewelry such as barbells, curved barbells, and horseshoes are all internally threaded only.
-
Clean the piercing with a saline solution and avoid rotating or moving the jewelry excessively. Follow any specific aftercare instructions provided by your piercer. Neilmed piercing aftercare spray is available for purchase at our studio at all times. We highly recommend using this brand for piercing aftercare.
-
If you suspect an infection, seek advice from a healthcare professional immediately. Signs of infection may include:
excessive redness, swelling
pain
heat
discharge that is yellow, green, or foul-smelling

At Divine, we absolutely will not perform a piercing on you while pregnant or breastfeeding. We take safety precautions seriously at our studio, and we will gladly pierce you after this time.🙂
-
At Divine, we have a large assortment of different jewelry to choose from. All of our jewelry is implant grade titanium and is either internally threaded flat backs or threadless flat backs.
-
Unfortunately, no. In our studio, we have an intense 2-step process to disinfect and sanitize all piercing jewelry. We also only pierce with implant grade titanium and flat backs which are either internally threaded or threadless. We use these methods to ensure a safe and smooth piercing and healing process. You are more than welcome to use jewelry of your choice after your piercing is fully healed.
-
If your child is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present at the appointment. You will need to bring the following:
The child’s birth certificate
A valid government-issued ID from the parent or legal guardian
We require the birth certificate to verify the relationship between the parent/guardian and the minor receiving the piercing. This policy helps ensure the health, safety, and proper consent for anyone under 18.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept any other form of identification in place of a birth certificate. Please make sure to bring these documents with you to avoid needing to reschedule your appointment.
-
We recommend avoiding changing the initial jewelry until the piercing is fully healed, as changing jewelry prematurely can disrupt the healing process and increase the risk of complications. We will not downsize or change any jewelry for at least 3 months after the initial piercing.
-
It's best to wait until the piercing is fully healed before swimming or soaking in water to reduce the risk of infection. For most piercings, this could be upwards of 8-12 weeks.
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, we recommend getting approval from your primary care physician before scheduling your consultation or piercing. It is also very important to communicate any medical conditions with your piercer to ensure a safe and smooth process. It is also very important to follow all aftercare instructions provided by your piercer.
-
We strongly recommend coming back in to downsize your jewelry at 3 months. This will keep the piercing from shifting after the swelling goes down. We never charge to have your jewelry downsized!
-
Risks and complications can include infection, allergic reactions, excessive bleeding, scarring, and migration or rejection of the jewelry. It’s important to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent any and all complications.
-
At our studio, we strictly pierce with single-use sterile needles only. Needles are generally considered safer and more precise than using a gun. Piercing guns have several problems, including tissue damage and scarring, which can affect the final result. Additionally, piercing guns are impossible to sterilize which increases the risk of infection.
-
Please note that all minors must have a parent/legal guardian present with a valid birth certificate and ID.

At Divine, our studio policy is that you cannot exceed 3 piercings in one appointment. This allows each piercing enough room and time to heal properly.
-
To provide enough time for a safe and smooth healing process, you must wait at least 8 weeks until you can receive another piercing in the same area. We recommend waiting until your piercing is done swelling and it is not sore anymore. Healing time varies for each person and for different piercings. If you ever have any questions about whether your piercing is healed enough to change it, we recommend scheduling a free piercing check-up.
-
Please check the piercing aftercare brochure provided to you by your piercer and see what type of jewelry was used for your piercing. If it is internally threaded jewelry, you will hold the back and unscrew the front. If it is threadless jewelry, you will hold the back and pull the front off. When jewelry is first inserted for the fresh piercing, we make sure the jewelry is on there tight to prevent it from falling out. They may be tricky to remove the first time, which is why we recommend scheduling a free jewelry change to ensure a safe and smooth switch out.
