Tattooing contraindications
There are several contraindications for getting a tattoo, and it's important for you and your client to be aware of them before getting inked.

Allergies
If your client is allergic, they should not get a tattoo. Even latex, lidocaine, adhesives, etc. can cause allergic reactions. Always consult with your client before using certain products on or near them.
-
Skin conditions
Psoriasis, eczema, or dermatitis can make getting a tattoo risky and may lead to complications during the healing process. Tattooing over scars can be very tricky. Always make sure you consult with your clients beforehand.
-
Blood-borne diseases
If you have a blood-borne disease such as HIV or hepatitis, it is important to disclose this information to the tattoo artist, as there may be increased risks associated with getting a tattoo.
-
Pregnancy & breastfeeding
It is generally not recommended to get a tattoo while pregnant or breastfeeding due to the risks of infection and changes in the body during these periods.
-
Certain medications
Some medications, such as blood thinners, can affect the body's ability to heal and increase the risk of bleeding during the tattooing process.
-
Compromised immune system
If you have a weakened immune system due to conditions such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, or autoimmune disorders, getting a tattoo may pose greater risks of infection and other complications.
-
Certain medical conditions
